From Sep.20 to 21 the ‘2016 Fugitive Emissions Summit’was held in Shanghai International Convention Center, more than 200 attendees were presented in the summit, including 19 exhibitors, 70 end-users, research institutes and government official representatives. On the first day of the conference, more than 200 representatives of enterprises and users, such as API, Sabic, BP, Total, were all present. As the first seminar held in China, the two-day seminar has gained very positive feedback and results, and received the enthusiastic attention and participation from the professionals both at home and abroad.

During the plenary session of the seminar, speakers from China and foreign countries started from the perspectives of laws and regulations, end users and technical solutions. Environmental Assessment Center of China’s Ministry of Environmental Protection, Sinopec Safety Engineering Research Institute, Shanghai and Tianjin Academy of Environmental Sciences, Yarmouth from the United States, Sage Environmental Consulting Co., Ltd. of the United States and Sniffers of Belgium. At the same time, we also provided the participants with an optional parallel seminar session. On the afternoon of the first day of the meeting, Chevron expert Mr. Bill Ross brought a leaking training program from California to Kazakstan.
